Rye is one of the most common grains for food, especially for bread-making in Europe. It is common as a prescription treatment there too, as doctors noticed that in areas where rye bread was more common, prostate problems were noticeably less common too.

They quickly discovered that rye pollen contains Cernilton. Cernilton contains a high concentration of Stigmasterol, a plant sterol, and Quercetin, a natural anti-inflammatory.

Together with other trace ingredients in rye extract, these two chemicals seem to prevent growth of abnormal cells in the prostate as well as reduce or eliminate inflammation that can lead to prostatis. Cernilton is commonly available in supplement form, and I recommend taking this daily.
